We spent Memorial Day Weekend at the
Gustafson Cabin up in
Nisswa, MN. The cabin belongs to Steve's aunt and uncle who live in California and let us use it when they're not here!!
There was a new bakery in town that we had to check out...Rachel's Bakery...very good, but a little pricey. I'd go back again though for their peach scones.

Ethan's first experience in the greater MN lakes...it was pretty cold, but he did end up enjoying it eventually. Maybe next time we're up there it will be warm enough to go swimming and get wet.

I was expecting Ethan to start digging into the sand and start eating it, or at least make a complete mess, but he just kind of looked at it and wondered what in the world is this. He had more fun playing with his cousins and his toys.

Grandma and Grandpa with their three grandchildren. Sophie, Julia, and Ethan.

On Memorial Day we went to town to listen to some
speeches and watch a fly over. It was so cold we were bundled up and moving around to keep warm...what a summer... must be Minnesota.
