Sara's 30 Years Old

My 30th Birthday started out really early. I picked up my parents at the airport just after midnight. (They were on their way back from NC.) Mom suggested going out for a quick breakfast to celebrate my birthday and let me open some presents since it was June 3rd already!
We ended up going to IHOP, which was really busy actually, and eating breakfast and opening presents.
Here I'm opening the infant carrier that mom and dad got for me and I'm also sporting my new earrings and nail polish that John and Stacie sent along for me. It was a great way to start my birthday.
That night Steve took me out to a fancy French restaurant, Muffulletta's, where the food was really good even though you weren't quite sure about what you were eating .
Dessert was delicious and small...just right after a big meal.

We then went to go see "Prince Caspian" before heading back home to take over our parenting responsibilities and let my parents go home for the night after having watched Ethan for us.
The celebrations continued on the next day when Beth, Ezra, and Elijah were in town and we had supper with them at Oma and Opa's.
Ethan had such a good time just hanging out with his "cousins" and mostly just starred at them. It was very cute.
By the way, what do you call the relationship between my cousins and my kids...are they "second cousins" or "cousins once removed"?
