Elizabeth is due with a baby girl on June 24th, just one week after she's done with the school year. She is married to Steve's older brother Dan and is a high school teacher.Marne and I (with lots of help from Carol) had a baby shower for her at Carols house since they have the most room for all our relatives here in town. We had everyone bring a book along with a gift to help build a library for their little girl....there are a lot of really cool kids books out there.
I was actually able to get a quilt made for her just in time for the shower...it feels so good to be sewing again, but don't expect too much!As we were all leaving Elizabeth's mom commented on the fact that it's the last family baby shower for her and Carol since all of their kids will have had babies now... kind of sad and at the same time so exciting to have so many cousins around town.
