Mother's Day!

My first mothers day was a busy one. We started out with brunch at our house with Oma and Opa. Steve made his famous cheese eggs and bacon and Opa brought the sweet rolls and fruit.
It was so nice to be pampered, feel appreciated ... and get gifts :)


After we had our fill we drove out to Buffalo to attend church with Mike and Amy and be there for Jonah's baptism. What a perfect day to celebrate the importance of raising a child to be Christ minded. After church we headed to Mike and Amy's for a pot luck lunch with all of their family. We don't get to see them very often so it was nice to have them all there together.

Ethan was having so much fun playing with the guest of honor, but mostly he just wanted to poke him in the eye and steal his toys. We kept having to move Ethan further away from Jonah until we finally just moved Jonah away from Ethan. He played so hard that he fell asleep drinking his bottle and then napped on Daddy's shoulder.


After all the festivities finished we headed to Albertville Outlet Mall to do some shopping before the evening service at out church. We did get supper at Davanni's with Steve's parents and made it home just in time for Ethan's bedtime....what a crazy, busy, wonderful day!
