5 months old

April has started out as a busy month. Laura and her twin boys, Zackary and Nathan, came over for a play date this week. They are 8 months older than Ethan and so much fun. We all had lunch together and the boys got to try out our new highchairs. They work pretty good and clean up real easy! Ethan loves watching other kids and didn't seem to mind his friends playing with all his toys and watching them explore their new environment.



Ethan is now 5 months old and has finally learned how to stand on his own two feet...well, he can now stand up while we hold his hands and he loves being able to see the world at a whole new angle.



He has also started eating vegetables, we started with the green variety and so far he doesn't seem to mind the peas and green beans. We're waiting on the fruit until we know he likes his veggies. It's hard enough to get Daddy to eat his, so I'm starting early with Ethan. :)



He's such a good little (well, actually quite big) boy and is now sleeping 10-11hours at night and spends his days playing with his toys, laughing, talking, and otherwise staying happy as long as he gets his naps. He's also started teething a few weeks back, but it only seems to bother him a few times a week and there is still no sign of teeth yet, we'll keep you posted.
