We might be all grown up, turning 30 soon, having a child of our own, but there's nothing more fun than taking a night off to be a kid again. Eric and Sally (good friends of ours), and Steve and I dropped our kids off at the grandparents and went to "Grand Slam" tonight to have an evening filled with lazer tag, batting cages, arcade games, mini golf, and krazy kars. I love being a parent, but some times you just need a break and night off.
We ended the night with a quiet dinner before picking Ethan up at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I think he was having so much fun with them and his two cousins (Sophie and Julia) that he didn't even have a chance to miss us.
