Creativity at work

I've been wanting to get a little more creative with Ethan, but it's hard when his attention span is so short. That is unless he's watching "Cars," which is the only time I see him sitting still for more than a few minutes.
Anyway, we did manage to make Valentines and Easter cards, die Easter eggs and make Easter cupcakes so far this year...

Muhr Spring Staycation

Instead of heading south to Florida for spring break we only made it as far south as Lakeville Holiday Inn (about 45 min. away). We spent the weekend with Steve's family playing at the water park on Friday night and then heading to the MN Zoo on Saturday.
The kids had so much fun playing in the water and eating snacks that it was really hard to get them to finally go to bed.
Saturday morning came way to early and was just chilly enough that we were glad we had our coats and that much of the Zoo is indoor. We took the train around the whole park and were able to see most of the animals from up high.
I hope you can see these pictures, there were just too many cute pictures to only blog a few.

I'd like to share my Snapfish photos with you. Once you have checked out my photos you can order prints and upload your own photos to share.

Ellie's 5 months old already

Our sweet little girl is growing up so fast. We started cereal when she turned 5 months old, and now a few weeks later she still can't get the hang of it, but all kids learn to eat eventually right? :)

She has been cooing and laughing at our antics and loves to watch Ethan run and play around her. Lately she's been getting better about rolling over and has found some fun things to suck on...like the baby wipes that happened to be sitting on the floor.

Everything is going in her mouth and coming out covered in drool...she just might get over that in a few years. (Ethan is still sucking on his toys...then again who wouldn't want to suck on rubber wheels from his cars.)

Up, up, up,...down, down, down,...

We had so much fun sledding today at Valley Place Park, otherwise known as "Crystal Bump." Ethan is still not quite sure about this whole sledding thing, but he did have a lot of fun too. Ellie came with us and slept the whole time. She was probably so warm and snug that nothing would have fazed her. Ethan on the hand could be heard saying "down, down, down" all the way down the hill and then "up, up, up" the whole way back up the hill. We are blessed with such good kids and have so much fun with them.
He was definitely ready to go home by the end.

Chuck E. Cheese

After having worked 4 twelve hour shifts we headed to Chuck E. Cheese for an evening of fun with friends from church. Ethan had so much fun running around watching everyone play games and played on some of the rides too. I'm not sure if Ethan or Daddy had more fun with the games though. :) Ellie and Cooper are still a little young, but they still seemed to enjoy themselves.

Look-a-like?

Yep, I think she looks like me!!! Then again, tomorrow she just might look completely different again.

Thank you Marva for the cute hat.

Random Pictures

Poor Ethan was just trying to get some attention.

Ellie is growing up so fast...3 months already.

Ellie was having a little fit and just needed a little TLC...well, really just to have somebody hole her nuk for her. At the same time, Ethan happened to tip over on his little chair and caught himself on the living room table with his ear.
Daddy was able to handle both of them without a problem and before you know it we were all happy again and heading to Grandma's house.

Our annual trek to the dog show. Always a lot of fun to see the different breads and chat with the owners (they are a different bread too :)

I really shouldn't complain that my kid likes to eat carrots, but it takes him so long to chew them. Tonight he was still chewing on his first carrot when I was half done with my meal. He is a good eater though so I'll take whatever I can get.

Ellie must have some of Grandpa John's gene's in her...she loves to box.
