It's amazing how much stuff you can accumulate after 7 years of marriage. We were actually able to fill up a complete truck load and still not fit everything. We did have a lot of wonderful helpers though and the move went quite smooth. Nothing broke and only a few things got lost along the way, but I'm slowly finding them in boxes tucked away in this house. We started to do some unpacking that day, but left the house and all it's mess to sleep at Oma and Opa's house so we could wake up Easter morning to brunch and not a wall of boxes.
I think Steve was getting a little sleep deprived after all the late days working on the house that he showed up on moving day wearing two different shoes and he hadn't even noticed.
Ethan just keeps running around the house now that he has so much more room to move. He's also been quite the helper in unpacking boxes and then playing with the paper.
